The first thing I did was to continue my search for amphibians, and I was thrilled to find some beautiful peach colored Spring Salamanders in "my back 40", 5/19.
...and of course the resident loons came by, 5/20.
Our intrepid team of Loon Biologists at Lake Winnipesaukee, or as the locals say,"Winni".
Some loons were already nesting. This one on an artificial raft nest platform, 5/22.
