Aspens, Screech owl, and Scaled quail, Oct. 2014

 An unusual patch of near red aspen.

 A flock of small birds alarm-calling alerted me to find this Screech owl in a juniper, 2 Peaks, Oct. 4

 The owl ignored the small birds and they eventually left.
